I walked around that property (lullwater park?) it is pretty nice. Actually that whole area of town is. Looking forward to the move.

I used to run and bike around Lullwater. I lived in the Decatur area for most of my years here. Real Estate there took off before I could afford to put a down payment on a place, but the Decatur area is even nicer now. I lived two blocks from the Dark Horse during my year at Emory hospital. I'm farther North now, but still ITP ( inside the perimeter). I'll buy you a beer when you get here...I'm met some of the local guys who are now Terrapin brewing in Athens... good stuff.

Sounds good. Should be moving in June but I am up there almost every month now. We are looking in the Decatur area and a bit north of there but would like to stay around Emory.

Highland Tap Room, Mo's & Jo's, Dark Horse Tavern.... there are some ok spots in Va Highlands, but it's been awhile.

Never heard back from my pal re schools (I didn't forget just didn't have a response).

No problem, i think i figured the school thing out.

I hit a few places in Va Highlands in December. One was a PBR bar, gotta love that. Also hit a nice more upscale pub in Decatur.

The PBR bar was probably Mo's & Jo's - right across road from Highland Tap. Great institution - you'll meet a lot of interesting folks there.
